Genesis

It Started with a Dead Cylinder

Like most people in Lagos, our founders had dealt with the frustration of running out of gas at the worst possible moments. But when they started looking closely at how gas was actually managed across Nigerian homes and businesses, what they found was not just inconvenient; it was a systemic failure.

No visibility into how much gas was left. No reliable way to order more quickly. Prices that changed without notice. Vendors who showed up late or not at all. And zero accountability from start to finish.

The technology to solve all of this already existed. IoT sensors, mobile payments, real-time logistics. None of it was being applied to LPG. So we built BuyGas.
